Quality Business Solutions, an established, stable, and rapidly growing document management dealership is looking to hire a qualified Copier/Printer Field Service Technician.
We have been in the business for over 20 years, and have a reputation for being the best, our service is second to none. Our technicians are expected to service and repair equipment at customers locations within an assigned geographic territory, set up IP addresses, download printer drivers and provide customer training on printing functions, and work closely with our other technicians and dispatch team to accomplish a common goal of making our customers as happy as possible.
Preferred traits/requirements
- Requires journeyman level technical knowledge typically gained through completion of technical school and 2+ years of related experience.
- Good customer service and time management skills
- Computer skill (quickly type/respond to email, basic excel knowledge, ability to troubleshoot applications to determine if it is a PC or copier issue)
- Three years or more of experience with copier break/fix repair, copier troubleshooting, copier refurbishment (Konica Minolta, Kyocera experience preferred, but any manufacturer experience we will consider)
This is a full-time job with health, dental, 401k benefits, competitive base salary, and Company Car, with the primary hours being Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00pm.

Duties:
- Sell Office Equipment and Software systems and products by prospecting, scheduling appointments; demonstrating equipment; outlining alternatives; recommending solutions for the client’s total office equipment needs
- Exceeding sales goals by prospecting new business as well as upgrading existing customers
- Maintain and support existing customers in the territory
- Prospect a local geographical protective territory for new accounts
- Stay abreast of company and competitor products and pricing
- Promote company image and products at business shows
- Conduct and present benchmark demonstrations, proposals, and value propositions

Quality Business Solutions, located in Baltimore, is seeking an experienced Account Manager with the ability to establish and increase our IT Services and Website Development market position in the Greater Baltimore Area.
The Account Manager is expected to:
- Gain new customers by locating, developing, and negotiating business relationships in the State of Maryland.
- Work with existing customers to grow and enhance customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities in IT support and Website design by employing a consultative sales approach to satisfy customer technology needs.
- Promote the sale of the full line of QBS IT Services and Website Design to both existing and new customers in the QBS territory.
- Conduct executive-level sales calls to generate interest in QBS services and conduct effective sales presentations at executive levels.
- Document sales calls, interactions, and follow-up processes.
- The ideal Web Design candidate will have experience in discussing the following: CMS systems (especially WordPress), HTML5, CSS, SEO practices, Designs website layouts according to current digital content standards and practices
- The ideal IT candidate will have experience in discussing the following: PC and network issues, LAN and WAN network management; Windows Server 2012 and 2016; Active Directory and Group Policy management; VMware hypervisor and virtual machine creation and management; SonicWALL firewalls; Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 basic and advanced management; Apple OS, Office 365 management; basic telecom maintenance; Autotask experience is a plus.
Experience and Requirements:
- Minimum of two years ‘experience selling IT products and services including website development
- Knowledge and familiarity with desktop, server and network technology
- Must be adept at excellent interpersonal and two-way communication, with the ability to present in a group setting
- Project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions
- Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills
- Possess patience, persistence and an entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset
